My baby girl is not feeling today. She has colds since Monday and had a slight fever Tuesday. I feel sad seeing my little angel having difficulty breathing in the evening. Her nose runs and she doesn’t know what to do that makes her irritable, too.
I remember when we were at the library for Story Time For Toddlers Friday morning, there was a little boy with a runny nose. Maybe that’s where my baby got the colds because she started sneezing as we were leaving the library. It has been a couple of days now and I am thankful that she is not coughing. What I am doing is giving her an infant fever reducer medicine every six hours or as needed during the day then a children’s allergy medicine only at bedtime.
It is not easy getting around when your child is sick. Parents like us get worried all the time. I am glad that my daughter’s appetite is not affected with the colds. She eats good as usual. I give her lots of water or juice so she’s not dehydrated. We will stay home and have a good rest. Taking care of my little angel especially when she’s sick like this is the most priority.
