What do you and your kid(s) do after school? Does your child have after school activities like swimming, martial arts, music lessons, dance and art classes, gymnastics, and workshops that he or she will continue attending while on summer break?
I know some of my mommy friends send their children to one or two of the activities I mentioned above during the week after school. My darling daughter was in a ballet class two years ago. She doesn’t want to do that again because she said it’s boring. 🙂 We also tried to put her in tumble and ballet combo but still she got bored. Then we tried gymnastics with ASI Gymnastics Trial invite last year before Kindergarten. She enjoyed it-lots of activity in each session. She went once a week that time and looked forward to the next class. I noticed then that she really enjoyed gymnastics. But I have three things in mind that I want her to do this summer-swimming, piano, and gymnastics. But with our schedule, I think I will drop one. It is hard to decide since all of them are very essential.
My husband and I should talk about this with proper consideration because availing these classes are not cheap.

My cousin E is crafty and talented in sewing, crocheting, and making hair clips. Aside from these, she also takes custom made orders on hair bows and head pieces. If you are interested in ordering or buying her items, you may contact her at email@example.com .
It’s been a while since we gone out to the mall. My daughter thought of going to Firewheel Town Center today since it’s her Spring Break. She wanted to go to Barnes & Noble Bookstore. Besides children’s books, she also finds nice learning tools and kids’ toys there.

What a week. Since I started going back to work, as a substitute teacher at my daughter’s school, my house has become unorganized. I had two pending Balikbayan boxes which I just shipped out this Saturday. Then I have more stuff left for another box to be shipped out to my family in the Philippines before my nieces and nephews go back to school in June. School is out end of this month so they will be in summer vacation starting April 1st.
I started as a substitute teacher at K’s school February this year. I subbed in a few classes in Kindergarten, in First Grade, and in Fourth Grade. The recent sub position I took was for the Librarian Aide. So I worked at the library for three days. It was fun and a little busy because it was testing week at the school. The testing was conducted in the computer laboratory so the computer classes were joined other classes at library times.
Next week is Spring Break and I can’t wait for our trip to Beaver’s Bend State Park in Oklahoma. My darling daughter is excited as well. We’re going to explore the park again. Right now, I am finishing a few house chores and will go to the playground later.
I was a guest reader in K’s class yesterday.
In participation with the Read Across America Campaign week, K’s school PTO asked parents if we’re able to come to the school and read to the students or listen to them read. I came to her school yesterday and read a book to two First Grader students and to K’s class.
It was a great feeling to be able to share a little time reading to the children and see them interact and share their reactions about the story I read to them.
