With the Tooth Fairy of Wylie Children’s Dentistry
It was one of the awaited event every Fall season-the Glow in the Park and Boo on Ballard Fall Festival in Wylie, TX every last Thursday of October. We always go every year. My darling daughter enjoys trick or treating and seeing some friends downtown.
Lots of activities and all the stores in Downtown Wylie participates in Trick or Treat. Glow in the Park is held at the Olde City Park while all the trick or treating and Fall festivities are held inside the downtown business area.

There were free hotdogs, water, and cotton candy, zip lining, bubble pit, face painting, barrel rides, and disco. Lots of fun! Almost everyone were in their best Halloween costumes. This year we got to see the Tooth Fairy. We weren’t able to catch her last year. Yay! K was very happy. The Tooth Fairy granted K some pixie dust. So sweet. 🙂
I am glad that we had a nice weather in this event. Last year’s was very chilly. We didn’t get to do the foam pit because I did not bring extra clothes for K. So she just spent most of the time in the playground. Then we ate hotdogs, tried out TCBY (The Country’s Best Yogurt) frozen yogurt place on Ballard Street and went home at 8:00 P.M.

Whenever my mom friends and I get together in a special occasion, there is no doubt we will be singing our heats out on karaoke. Filipinos love to sing. It a stress reliever hobby and a fun past-time. I have a dear friend who was a singer in a band and she sang very good. She even have a Magic Sing karaoke system at her house. Plus, a high-tech microphone that you don’t need to belt out a high note because of it’s remarkable sound pick-up. It’s very impressive.
Now I was curious about the special microphone singers use whenever they perform onstage. It appears to me that it is ideal to have your own microphone fit for your voice especially when you are recording. Such product is not very hard to find, though. You can buy it music stores like Guitar Center, at2020 .
Many recording artists, broadcasters, and musicians prefer to use condenser microphones because of the high quality noise and sound pick-up in studios and recordings. I should start looking for one.
at the cinema
My family and I enjoy watching movies on weekends. Also, if there is an interesting animated movie for kids, we watch it together on Saturdays. Like this afternoon, we watched the movie Sing. My darling daughter wanted to watch The Space Between Us. But it is not appropriate for her age so I convinced her to watch something else. Luckily, Sing is still playing in the cinema in Wylie.
I thought the movie would be one of those lame animated movies. But, because it’s a musical and had a good song list (soundtrack), K and I enjoyed it. Sing was an entertaining movie with good humor in it. The animal characters sang their songs with full emotion. The story line was good.
K had a great time. She loves watching movies.
Baby girl and I went to the cinemas and watch the Trolls movie. I thought it was just one of those exaggerated animated movies for kids that I don’t like. We found it musically entertaining, fun, cheerful, and cute. It has a bit of a fairy tale story in it. I thought Poppy would be K’s favorite. But it was Branch that she likes because he became a happy troll at the end of the movie.
So guess what she received on her 6th birthday from Mom and Dad? Trolls plush toy and Poppy’s pink wig. My baby girl was very happy. 🙂
