High School Homecoming Mum 2025 Freshman Year ( Momimhar posted on September 16th, 2025 )
It’s football season y’all again! Pep rallies here and there and schools are hyping up for Friday Night Lights. Most especially, it’s homecoming season in Texas, too.
This is my darling daughter’s homecoming mum this year. Our school colors are blue and gold. She is now in high school so I made a new one. 😀 Hers was the last mum I made since I got several homecoming mum orders this year for the homecoming week in our district last week. I only had like overnight to make it and finished the whole mum two hours before the homecoming game. Big thanks to my darling daughter for the assistance. It’s not quite complete yet because I still need to add a couple of cutouts on it.
This is gonna be K’s freshman to junior mum. Senior homecoming mum will be in different color and surely a bit bigger. 🙂

Hello dear blogger friends! Happy New Year 2025! I hope your celebrations of the New Year’s was a wonderful one. May this year brings you peace, prosperity, and happiness.
My family and I went to Arkansas for the New Year’s weekend. This is our second year spending the New Year’s at Mountain Harbor Resort & Spa in Mount Ida, Arkansas. We loved it here because the place is so quiet and serene. We rented a cabin for a few days. During the Holidays, there’s no recreation activities or fireworks and the resort’s restaurant is closed for the season. But that’s alright. Our small family enjoyed the quiet time anyway-away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We loved the cabin rental because we can cook and it has it’s own exclusive hot tub which my daughter liked.
It’s January and it’s time to flip note down our schedule for the month. Lot’s of things happening this month including my birthday. 🙂 It falls on the Lunar New Year. Yay!
Well, I hope y’all have a Happy month of January and New Year full of optimism.
Double Celebration: Retirement and 40th Birthday Parties ( Momimhar posted on April 15th, 2023 )
Weeks ago I was invited to one of my friends’ parties. She and her daughter was celebrating a big milestone. My friend was retiring from a healthcare job and her daughter was turning 40. It was a huge double celebration that weekend. I went to attend it with my other friend. We saw old acquaintances whom we haven’t seen in a long time. Lots of catching up, lots of good food, and of course, karaoke.
We had a great time. Happy for my friend’s accomplishments and success in her profession. I wonder if I will be able to retire, too? 🙂
