Pretend Credit Cards ( Momimhar posted on February 1st, 2017 )

While cleaning my purse I found two old and empty prepaid debit cards.  I gave them to K because she likes playing shopping with those.

Then she said. “Mom.  What if I have two credit cards with two thousand dollars in both of them?”

I said, “You can take me on a vacation somewhere.”

Toddler Stage: Playing Restaurant ( Momimhar posted on March 19th, 2016 )

(Playing restaurant.)

K: “Hello, what’s your name?”
M: “Uhm, you don’t ask the customer’s name, honey. You’ll greet them first. You’ll say, how are you today?”
K: “Oh. How are you today, ma’m?”
M: “Very well thank you. How about you?”
K: “I’m good, thank you.”
M: “Then you’ll say, what would you like to drink?- Then put the menu in front of the customer on the table.”
K” “What would like to drink? Ah, we don’t have a menu because this is a fancy restaurant. I memorize all the orders.”

Darling daughter and I were playing restaurant last night.  She was the server and I was the customer.  I like it when she uses her imagination. It helps her develop good judgement, I think.  It’s always fun playing with kids, you know.  You will learn lots of things with them that sometimes you’ll get speechless. 🙂

Toddler Stage: Running Around And Playing Happily ( Momimhar posted on February 16th, 2016 )

K: “Mommy, I’m running away from my shadow.”

My darling daughter is playing in the living room.  All toys are scattered here and there.  She has a small table and two toddler chairs for her Pre-K activities and arts and crafts.  On the floor are three toy storage bins for her animal toy figures, toy vehicles, and Little Pet Shop figures.  She makes homes for all the figures and pretends the living room is a big city.  My daughter is playing happily-humming and singing while Peppa Pig show is in the background.  Then after that, she was running around saying she is running away from her shadow.  Aw…what a cute little thing. 🙂
