It’s A Girl…Again ( Momimhar posted on July 19th, 2012 )

My cousin and I went to a birthday party few days ago.  I thought she won’t be able to come because of her condition.  She is in her last trimester of her pregnancy.  This is her second child and it’s a girl!  Ah-bee has a little sister.

It was great to see her looking good and staying healthy.  She told me before that she was diagnosed with Placente Previa.  It is a condition where the placenta maybe located in the lower part of the uterus covering the cervix outlet.  Some pregnant women gets it.  But as the pregnancy progresses, Placenta Previa resolves itself.  It was a good news she shared to me that she does not have it anymore.  Thank God!

I had complications with my pregnancy also – Gestational Diabetes, Infection, and Hypertension. It was difficult.  We were so thankful that my healthcare provider took very good care of me and my baby.

Now our babies are growing fast.  Ah-bee and Kaye are turning two years old in four months.  They both love being in the water.  So they enjoyed swimming at the birthday party.  It was held in recreation center with an indoor swimming pool.  A nice idea for a summer kids party.

Indoor Swimming Pool ( Momimhar posted on July 19th, 2012 )

Again, it’s a wonderful week.  My daughter was invited to a kids birthday party in Plano.  My friend’s son turned 8 and the party was held at Tom Muehlenbeck Center.  The party includes swimming so we brought our swimwear.

Andrew’s Birthday Party

Tom Muehlenbeck Center is a big recreation area in Plano.  It has both indoor and outdoor pools.  The pools have an appropriate depth levels for guests to splash in.  Admission to use the pools are based on age:

$3 for youth 3-15

$6 for adults 16 and up

Indoor Swimming Pool

It is a good idea to celebrate a special occasion like kids parties in a recreation center in the summer.  This way, if you are planning to include swimming in the party activity, an indoor pool is going to be perfect for everybody.

My daughter had fun at the party especially in the water.  She did not want to get out of the water when it was time to go home.  What I did not like was the shower rooms are located at the locker rooms…a bit farther because we had to walk across the hallway from the pool.  In fairness, the center has nice shower rooms.

It was my baby’s first time in the swimming pool.  She wasn’t scared at all.

Big Savings On San Antonio Vacation Experience (SAVE) ( Momimhar posted on July 19th, 2012 )

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of SAVE for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

It was three years ago when my husband took me down to South Texas for a vacation. And it was my first time to visit San Antonio. We had a wonderful time at SeaWorld. The hotel accommodation was cheap because of Limited Time Offers promo that was an inviting deal. The enjoyable experience at SeaWorld San Antonio was one of the most memorable moment of my life. I thought, it would be best when we go back there with my darling daughter now that she is a toddler. In the next couple of years, she will start appreciating the beautiful scenery and rides at SeaWorld in San Antonio.

My husband and I were thinking of going when we get back from our travel to the Philippines. Now that I learned about SAVE (San Antonio Vacation Experience), hotel bookings and visits to the city's great attractions will cost us less than before. Of course, we would like to save on hotel room accommodation because it will be definitely more than a 4-day stay. In addition, we will visit Schlitterbahn this time. It has been in our plan since. I already have an acitivity plan on mind for our next visit to San Antonio.

Day 1 – Check in at Holiday Inn Express Rivercenter Area with SAVE rates from $59 per night. Dinner at one of the restaurants along the Riverwalk area.

Day 2 – Adventure begins. After a big breakfast at the hotel, we will go to the Alamo IMAX Theatre Rivercenter. Free child's admission. My daughter will have a great time for sure. Then we will watch water shows at SeaWorld that includes seeing Shamu. Visiting the huge aquarium would be cool. And lining up in the kids ride is precious. With SAVE, SeaWorld offers multiple discounts on rides and shows. We will probably won't stay too long roaming around in the heat. So we'll likely head back and stop by at the San Antonio Botanical Garden for a couple of hours of relaxation. There's a $1 OFF admission fee with SAVE. Back to the hotel, have a big dinner, and call it a day.

Day 3 – Shopping Day! Woohoo! After yummy breakfast at the hotel, we will stroll along the Riverwalk in the morning. Then I will go to the Market Square again where discounts on purchases are nice. Then I will see my favorite department store in The Shops at La Cantera. The mall offers Free Premier Passport which entitles traveling shoppers to exclusive discounts and promos. Day 3 of the vacation is like cooling of for us. We'll take it easy and enjoy the day of bonding together as a family. A special dinner in our favorite restaurant in the Riverwalk will end the terrific day.

Day 4 – Check out. Head home. 🙂

See, with SAVE – San Antonio Vacation Experience, the whole vacation in San Antionio will totally cost you less. With special discounts and privilege, travelers can enjoy more of the place.
