One of the most precious moments my baby and I have everyday is when we eat meals together. I consider it as mommy and baby bonding too. It is when I am able to teach her good table manners and encourage her to use spoon and fork, drink from a plastic cup by herself, and eat vegetables. Of course like everything else, feeding a toddler requires lots and lots of patience.
There are mornings that I wake up before my daughter does. I heat up coffee and prepare her milk. Then after that, we eat breakfast together. I give her either fruits or peanut butter (or cheese) sandwich. I am used to eating light breakfast. Either I will have breakfast snack or brunch. I believe that having breakfast in the morning helps you get through the day. One of my favorite breakfast snack is Quaker Soft Baked Bar. Besides their oatmeal product, it also gives the nutrients our body needs. Though my husband does not eat breakfast (except if he is on vacation), surely he takes snack bars to work to nibble in the middle of the day. Quaker Soft Baked Bar comes in two flavors, Banana Nut and Cinnamon Pecan. But our favorite is Banana Nut.
It is very important to let the family make it a habit to eat wholesome food. And never to skip breakfast.
