Organizing a party is not as easy as you might think. Especially if it is the first time, we panic quickly and get nervous if something goes wrong. Even those party planner experts feel the butterflies in their stomach too.
The first time I organized a party is for my youngest sister’s 18th birthday. It was remotely organized because the party was held in the province. I used the Internet and cell phone on everything – communicating with the hotel, bank, websites, and with my family as well. It was difficult because of the different time zone. Everything has to have a deadline so there is nothing left out. I allotted a month for the event preparation. But the party was nice and it was well-attended by family, classmates, and friends. My sister was very happy.
Now, I will host my daughter’s 1st birthday party a week from now. Isn’t that exciting?
