In participation with the Read Across America Campaign week, K’s school PTO asked parents if we’re able to come to the school and read to the students or listen to them read. I came to her school yesterday and read a book to two First Grader students and to K’s class.
It was a great feeling to be able to share a little time reading to the children and see them interact and share their reactions about the story I read to them.
It was the Awards Assemblies again this afternoon. It’s the second 9 weeks in school and elementary students who did a great job within this period got recognized today. K and cousin A were among the students who showed and performed their best in school this period. K received a recognition for Best in Reading. A got recognized for Best in Writing. Nine weeks ago K and cousin A both received one of the 7 Habits award – Think Win Win and Sharpen The Saw.
Way to go little ones! We are so proud of you.
Give thanks — all year long. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
K and cousin A were awarded for their good performance in the nine weeks of school on Veterans Day. Wow. Their in school for over two months now, and they are learning each and every day. We are very proud of our little students for achieving the 7 Habits awards. Think Win-Win. Sharpen The Saw.
Way to go, girls!
