Take Advantage of Some Stores Offering Curbside Pick Up ( Momimhar posted on April 24th, 2020 )

We got bored. Since my darling daughter finished reading Tui Sutherland’s Wings of Fire Book #9, we had to order the Book #10 ASAP. DD is into this book series about dragons now. She finds the story fun and interesting. ‘Very picky, too. She wants the books in hardcover format. I figured DD is collecting the series.

Gladly Barnes & Noble does curbside pick up. Their store locations are temporarily closed because of the COVID-19 crisis. But customers are still able to buy books online. We just have to find the nearest Barnes & Noble to pick up our orders because not all bookstores offer this service. It also depends if the items are available or in stock in the bookstore near you.

DD was a happy camper getting her new book. She will be busy with this one for a little while. 🙂

School Supplies Shopping Online ( Momimhar posted on August 14th, 2019 )

School supplies.

When do you start shopping for school supplies? We do our shopping a week before Meet the Teacher day. I think that’s usually the time when stores put there very competitive pricing out for consumers to get advantage of.

I also do online shopping for school supplies. There was one time a store offered free shipping on a minimum order. I browsed that store and found some wide-ruled composition notebooks for cheap, crayons, colored pencils, and plastic folders. I added some office supplies for my husband to meet the minimum price set for free shipping. In this super hot summer in Texas, going out to shop is not quite exciting for me. I would rather do online shopping in the comfort of my home.

So I finished all of my school supplies shopping. I always make sure darling daughter’s school supplies for the new school year is complete before meeting her new teacher. If there is something needed for later, it will be easy.

Save Money With Discount Coupons On Groupon ( Momimhar posted on September 15th, 2016 )

This is a sponsored post.  All opinions are 100% mine.

When you are a stay home mother saving money becomes more important. It can be simple to others but to me it  is also a process and need keen analysis. It is time consuming but fulfilling, at the same time, when you know how much money you save.

Using coupons  is the best way to start saving in your groceries,  clothing, restaurants and accommodations, amusement park, etc. There are multiple sources to gather  coupons, I started with newspaper inserts and online coupon sites and getting coupon codes from Groupon website, which I recommend because you can get Groupon goods such as electronics, home goods, and services for cheap.  You can also enjoy the  discounts in department stores, food and services, classes, and  much more. Actually, using online codes is convenient and you are able to use it right away…no clipping needed.

While enjoying using coupons keep it in mind also to check the expiration dates and some other coupon policies before  purchasing a product or service.   It happened several times to me while doing online shopping or even in store shopping that the coupons were not accepted because it was expired (which I overlooked).  Either pay the whole amount or cancel your transaction.  This is the disadvantage of printed coupons.

I haven’t had problems with Groupon coupons so far.  In fact, I shopped for gift items last year for my family and friends.  I find Groupon goods very inexpensive because of big discounts offered by the site.  I even availed dining discounts at local restaurants in my town.  Very convenient.  So try going to Groupon and check them out now.  Follow them on social for updates and promotions.

The Holidays are fast approaching, you know.  Happy saving!
