I went to see my doctor the other day for a consultation and counseling because my husband and I made a big decision. I am going to undergo a procedure to permanently control pregnancy.
We sincerely talked about the matter and all the reasons why we had to do this. I am high risk. My complications were tough-infection, gestational diabetes, and pre-eclampsia. I had to take medication during my pregnancy to treat the infection. The gestational diabetes was unexpected but it was controlled by good diet. Pre-eclampsia developed when I was in labor. My baby and I were in a risky situation but my doctor did a great job providing the healthcare I needed.
My doctor asked me lots of questions. She wanted to make sure I am 100% with my decision. I had hesitations at first. But thinking about the complications and the my age, it is risky. She said the next pregnancy will be treated normal except I will be older by then.
Well, we’re fine with one child. Our little sweetheart is the pride and joy of our lives. We are happy that God gave us a sweet, lovely little girl. We will do our best to provide the things she needs, support her endeavors, and allow her to enjoy life. We will bring her up with discipline, modesty, and respect for others.
