Whenever I called long distance to my family, I never forget to ask how are the kids doing in school. I am so delighted to know that my niece and nephew learns a lot, especially my nephew who is in the First Grade. He is now interested and very diligent in reading. Before he goes to bed, he does his homework (with mother’s help) and reads his books. On the other hand, my niece works on learning more in Mathematics. I know she needs help on that. But she is doing good and studying hard.
During my call, my nephew sang a song he learned in class. It was wonderful! Though he barely pronounced some English words correctly, still it sounded cute. He said he will sing the song to me and his uncle when we come for a vacation next month. My husband is anxious.
