2025 Vacation Bible School-Live It Out Now ( Momimhar posted on June 23rd, 2025 )

One of the things I love whenever summer comes is the VBS or Vacation Bible School. As far as I can remember, I have attended VBS when I was in 2nd Grade in the Philippines. I also remember not many children attended the VBS in my neighborhood. So it was quite a very close interaction with the volunteer teachers and a very thorough Bible lessons. We even got awards when the VBS concluded. It was a very fun and happy experience for me. During those times, I began to develop the understanding of faith in the Almighty.

Four years ago, I registered my child to attend the VBS in my area. And at the same time, I registered to volunteer to serve. Although there are several assignments, I chose to serve as one of the teachers in one of the Kindergarten classes. Volunteers had to do and pass a highly important online training regarding child’s safety. Gladly I passed it. The VBS in my area is huge so the need of volunteers and training them was vital to it’s success.

VBS theme varies every year. This year, it’s a Team Spirit theme. It’s like a pep rally when it’s Big Group time. Songs of praise, instrumentals, and Bible lesson review are done in Big Group gathering.

VBS is fun and educational. The youth will not only enjoy the age-appropriate activities organized for them, but also they will learn a lot about Jesus and being a good person.

Have you attended a Vacation Bible School before?

Happy Father’s Day to our Daddy ( Momimhar posted on June 15th, 2025 )

Here darling daughter serving her daddy tea while playing Tea Party. Toddler stage is the time when you play so many fun learning games, pretend play, and dress up days. This is the stage when children develop their personality, communication skills and problem solving abilities. Also, this is the stage when parents begin teaching good manners and implement discipline. Throwing tantrums is normal but not all the time, you know what I mean? Toddlers can be very willful but proper discipline gives them the understanding that it is not ideal to be willful. Boundaries keep them safe.

My husband and I were reminiscing those toddler and pre-school years. I was kind of sentimental talking about it with him. He gave me all the emotional support from my pregnancy up to now that we are raising our child. He was a very comforting and loving dad. K was blessed to have a very supportive and caring dad.

Happy Father’s Day to our daddy!

And Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful dad in the whole world.
