Groupon Has Great Deals On ‘Good For Kids ‘ Classes and Activities Near You ( Momimhar posted on September 14th, 2016 )

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are mine.

If you are a mom like me who’s always on the lookout for engaging activities for children to enjoy all year round, let’s high five!  You see, keeping our kids busy on the activities they love to do is beneficial to their development because, not only they gain self-confidence but also, they learn how to socialize.

When my darling K turned 3, I started looking for an activity that might interest her.  I enrolled her to ballet classes.  Searching for dance schools wasn’t easy for me.  I asked for recommendations from my mom friends.  There was one close to our town but the registration fee was so expensive.  I bumped into Groupon.com and looked around their website and found some good Good For Kids health and fitness, and classes.  The locations were ideal and they offered discounts on classes with Groupon coupons.  Since my darling daughter was interested in gymnastics, I enrolled her in a gymnastics school and availed the discounted price listed on Groupon.  Not only K enjoyed the gymnastics classes.  She’s also learning about balance, composure, posture, and teamwork.

I was a happy mom since I found Groupon.com.  I like their site because of so many great deals – not only on kids activities but also on dining and shopping.  Every now and then,  I check for Nordstrom coupons on shoes and apparels on their site, too.  You can also follow them on social for updates at:

Now that the Holidays are fast approaching, start checking out Groupon.com now.  🙂

Encourage Your Kids To Participate In Physical Development Programs ( Momimhar posted on October 8th, 2015 )

My darling daughter and I went to her tumbling, gymnastics, and cheer class this afternoon.  I was glad that I didn’t forget the schedule today because we missed the first day of classes last Thursday.  K was very excited to try this new skills and physical development for toddlers.  As much she loves jumping, K loves tumbling as well.  I noticed that she got bored in ballet class when she was 3 so I decided to let her try something else that I know she enjoys.

We arrived at the recreation center 10 minutes early but the in-charge let K inside the classroom.  The room is big and wide.  The props are ready and waiting for the kids to show up.  There were six children in the list but only three of them came including K.  The other one, though she was inside the room, didn’t join the activity.

It’s a 30-minute class which is good, I think, because toddlers get tired and bored easily.

The Wylie Recreation Center offers fitness and developmental classes for toddlers and young kids age 2-5.  Depending on the type of class, the monthly rates ranges from $25 to $125.  For members and Wylie residents, the rates are lower.  So if there are health and fitness programs for kids in your area, you can register may register your children.  I am sure they will have a great time.
