Back To School Shopping Is On ( Momimhar posted on August 1st, 2015 )

School supplies.

School supplies.

Oh back to school is here. And tax-free weekend is next weekend.  But as I was told, there is no tax for purchases of $100 below. Why oh why? If I will go shopping in tax-free weekend, what I will do is to buy my child needs for school in separate receipts.  I know it’s quite tedious but to be able to avail the tax-free privilege, I would like to do that.

There is an excitement inside me seeing school supplies on display in stores.  Parents and kids get busy shopping for the things they need.  Aside from the school supplies, uniforms, shoes, handbags, and backpacks are a few of the back-to-school essentials that we have to provide our children.

My niece and nephews are happy that they have new school shoes and uniforms.  They’re growing so fast that they have outgrown their old uniforms and shoes already.  This school year, my niece is a college freshman, my nephew (her baby brother) is in 7th grade, and my other nephew is in 2nd grade.  Next fall, my darling daughter will in Kindergarten.  We will be going on a long vacation before she starts school next year.  It is still a few months a head but I am now getting excited for our next vacation.
