Gift-giving Season Is Here ( Momimhar posted on December 10th, 2020 )

Happy Holidays everyone! It’s that time of the year again when everyone starts getting festive and planning for great Holidays. And, the gift-giving mood is on a hype. Have you made a list yet?

Gift-giving is a tradition that this season has brought us. Whether it’s giving to your favorite charity or gifting family and friends, we do this selflessly. It’s not that we are showing off. We are sharing our blessings to those who are in need and showing our heartfelt gratitude to our loved ones because they were a blessing to us, too. It gives us the happiness that’s irreplaceable.

Now, if you are still in the process of shopping gifts or haven’t done so, you better get your self busy. Like everyone else, I also have a hard time picking the best present to giveaway. Making a list and checking it several times has become a habit this time of year. I recommend shopping online for beauty products for family and friends who are makeup junkies like yourself. 🙂

Beauty products such as: fragrances, facial care, lip color, and eyeshadows are on sale this time of the year. Some of our female family and friends prefer eyeshadow singles or eyeshadow sets. Eyeshadow singles in the best eyeshadow colors are more convenient to carry that is why it’s highly trending now. Makeup is one of the most popular gift items so it is better to buy these products from one store only to prevent hassle in future transactions.

Don’t rely on free shipping these days because you will only get disappointed. You might not receive the packages on time. Shipping charges are not that bad and I think it’s worth it.

Whatever gifts you give, the most important is…it’s the thought that counts.

Kids Clothes–Out With The Old In With The New ( Momimhar posted on August 29th, 2020 )

I can’t believe my darling daughter is gonna be turning 10 soon. Wow! Where did that years go? She’s growing so fast. Most of her clothes are outgrown now. This back to school had me thinking that I need to let go of my girl’s outgrown clothes and buy her new ones.

As I get busy with the new school year, I also plan to clean out closets since I haven’t paid much attention to it during the Summer Break. To be honest, I got pretty lazy. I have been procrastinating. Shame on me. Anyway, there are lots of outgrown girl’s clothes and a few unworn clothes to be donated soon. From dresses to pajamas, there’s lots of them.

Speaking of pajamas, I find it difficult to find the right size or fit for my darling daughter because she’s almost 10 years old and kids’ clothing sizes range are for ages 8-10 or 10-12. Like, there is no exact sizing for a slim 10-year old. Even if I go to an actual store to shop, I go home empty handed because I couldn’t find something that she likes. I understand that some pajamas styles are supposed to be snug-fitting that is why I am kinda picky.

The weather is going to get cool soon before we know it. As early as now, I am shopping online for snug-fit LazyOne family pajamas online. Yes, I also like twinning outfits with my sweetie pie which includes pajamas. I think it’s cute pretty cute. I only buy sleepwear for the family around this time of the year mainly because there are plenty of clearance sales online. Lazy One also have themed pajamas that cater to the special occasions of the year.

But, before I get distracted, I should clean out my darling daughter’s closet first. Like what they said, “out with the old, in with the new”.

Take Advantage of Some Stores Offering Curbside Pick Up ( Momimhar posted on April 24th, 2020 )

We got bored. Since my darling daughter finished reading Tui Sutherland’s Wings of Fire Book #9, we had to order the Book #10 ASAP. DD is into this book series about dragons now. She finds the story fun and interesting. ‘Very picky, too. She wants the books in hardcover format. I figured DD is collecting the series.

Gladly Barnes & Noble does curbside pick up. Their store locations are temporarily closed because of the COVID-19 crisis. But customers are still able to buy books online. We just have to find the nearest Barnes & Noble to pick up our orders because not all bookstores offer this service. It also depends if the items are available or in stock in the bookstore near you.

DD was a happy camper getting her new book. She will be busy with this one for a little while. 🙂
