About Me According To My Child ( Momimhar posted on October 11th, 2018 )

As I was cleaning up and organizing some of K’s school work from  last year, I took a moment reading one of her journals-the Work on Writing Journal-and I found this in one of the pages.

About My Mom

  1.  likes buffets
  2. has lots of rings
  3. lives (lived) in the Phillaphenes (Philippines)
  4. loves shrimp
  5. loves coffee
  6. loves me.

Isn’t this sweet?  I was touched reading this.  My darling daughter knows me well.

I would recommend looking through your children’s school journals.  You might find cute, sweet, interesting, or funny writings and expressions there.

Toddler Stage: Running Around And Playing Happily ( Momimhar posted on February 16th, 2016 )

K: “Mommy, I’m running away from my shadow.”

My darling daughter is playing in the living room.  All toys are scattered here and there.  She has a small table and two toddler chairs for her Pre-K activities and arts and crafts.  On the floor are three toy storage bins for her animal toy figures, toy vehicles, and Little Pet Shop figures.  She makes homes for all the figures and pretends the living room is a big city.  My daughter is playing happily-humming and singing while Peppa Pig show is in the background.  Then after that, she was running around saying she is running away from her shadow.  Aw…what a cute little thing. 🙂

Valentine’s Day Gifts From Daddy ( Momimhar posted on February 16th, 2016 )

Valentine's Day gifts from daddy.

Valentine’s Day gifts from daddy.

How’s everyone?  Did y’all had a nice Valentine’s Day? My family and I decided not to dine out for supper on Valentine’s Day, because who knows how long is the waiting time since we didn’t get any reservations.  So we went to lunch at Chili’s Grill & Bar. We haven’t been there in very long while.

We were so full and sleepy that we spent the rest of the day relaxing, napping, and hanging out at home. By the way, the big pink plush unicorn, the greeting cards, the red roses, and the box of chocolate were waiting for DD and me that morning.  DD said, “daddy is the sweetest.”  🙂
