Our darling daughter attended the Airman Leadership School (ALS) in Mineral Wells this weekend. It is one of the requirements to be able for her to be eligible to attend the Civil Air Patrol encampment in the future.
She was very interested in this program since age 12, but we waited for her to get a bit older and for the school schedule to be more flexible before registering her into the program. She has been having fun and engaging in all the activities that the CAP is organizing.
Yesterday was the ALS graduation ceremony. It was well-attended by the proud parents and guardians. The cadets were looking sharp in their blues and the staff cadets, as well as the senior officers, were very helpful and accommodating. We’re so proud of these young cadets for their hard work and determination at ALS.
