Baby E, my new niece, is now 3 months old. She was born in December during our vacation in the Philippines. A healthy big pink bundle of joy. She is the new apple of the eye in the family and the youngest grandchild of my parents.
My sister-in-law had baby E thru normal delivery at a Birth Center in our town. She was already having abdominal pains the day before the due date but still bearable. The next day morning she had contractions again. My mother asked my sister-in-law to get clean up because my mom was expecting the baby will come out very soon. And so, at one o’clock in the afternoon, the new baby girl was born.
It was a registered midwife who attended to my sister-in-law’s delivery. The big hospitals are 30 minutes away from our town and with that quick sudden labor like hers, I doubt she’ll be able to hold it. It’s risky to deliver a baby in a Birth Center because some centers don’t have the facilities that a patient needs. But thank God everything went well. My sister-in-law had safe delivery to a healthy baby girl.
I miss baby E so much already. I wish I am there to help take care of her.
Congratulations!! She looks adorable. I can well understand why you would want to be there with her-but think of it this way–Your Mom will probably hog all time with her!!
Well, that makes me jealous too. 🙂
Congrats on the new baby
Oh my goodness how precious. I love babies too! I understand how you are sad that you are missing out on your new niece.
She is so precious. What a wonderful photo. Congrats. ♥
awww I know what you mean, I have my nieces and nephews up in Michigan and we don’t go on any trips out of state. I miss them so much!!
How beautiful. It must be really hard to be that far away from family when you are close to each other.
