High School Homecoming Mum 2025 Freshman Year ( Momimhar posted on September 16th, 2025 )

It’s football season y’all again! Pep rallies here and there and schools are hyping up for Friday Night Lights. Most especially, it’s homecoming season in Texas, too.

This is my darling daughter’s homecoming mum this year. Our school colors are blue and gold. She is now in high school so I made a new one. 😀 Hers was the last mum I made since I got several homecoming mum orders this year for the homecoming week in our district last week. I only had like overnight to make it and finished the whole mum two hours before the homecoming game. Big thanks to my darling daughter for the assistance. It’s not quite complete yet because I still need to add a couple of cutouts on it.

This is gonna be K’s freshman to junior mum. Senior homecoming mum will be in different color and surely a bit bigger. 🙂

We Have A Freshman In The House ( Momimhar posted on August 16th, 2025 )

Yes, you read it right. We have a high school student now in our house. How time flies swiftly these days. Our darling daughter is now a 9th Grader. I can’t believe it. Grade school and middle school days are over. Now it’s time to enter the new phase of school-high school.

K told us she wasn’t ready to be in high school. She misses her middle school teachers. And some of her middle school friends moved to another city. In fact, she was invited to a back-to-school shopping day by her school friend who’s transferring to another school district. It was so sweet of that friend to invite K. I wish she’d have a great school year as well.

Now that K is in high school, we expect her schedule will be a bit busy. My dear husband and I are starting to make sure our calendars accommodate K’s schedule since she is in the high school cheer squad. And we just found out that her cheer practices are 6:00 A.M. on school days. That means our wake up time is 4:30 A.M..

Years pass by so fast. In the next four years, we’ll be having a college student. For now, we’re gonna enjoy this high school years. It’s going to be wonderful!

Youth Volleyball 2025 Spring League Championships ( Momimhar posted on July 20th, 2025 )

Two months ago was the last Spring volleyball game. We are so ecstatic that my darling daughter’s 8th Grade team won the volleyball playoffs and and made it to the championship tournament right after. And guess what, they got 2nd Place! It was an exciting game against one of the best school district teams, especially in volleyball, around our area. The girls worked really hard in practices and gave their all on the court.

This is K’s first volleyball tournament, and first time playing the sport in a team, so we’re so excited for her to play the game. I think she’s a good volleyball player. I receive a lot of compliments on how talented she is and how good team player she is. With a great coaching, I think her skills will quickly improve and she will be awesome playing the sport.

My darling daughter will be a freshman in high school this year. In addition to sideline cheer leading, I wish her best of luck on school sports that she might be interested in.

Middle School Level Complete 8th Grade Awards Assembly and Graduation ( Momimhar posted on May 24th, 2025 )

Please join me congratulate my darling daughter for receiving awards this school year. Despite of her hectic school sports schedule, she still maintained satisfactory grades in her classes. The first semester of Eighth Grade was a bit challenging for K. But she was able to overcome it and finished the school year with flying colors. She’s an A Honor Roll again.

In addition to her good academic performance, K became more athletic this year. She tried out sport after sport and made it to the rosters of basketball and track. Track was her most anticipated sport this year because she missed it in 7th Grade because she got sick during the tryouts week.

K was very confident that she’ll be able to be in the 8th Grade track team and she made it. She worked hard at every practice and it payed off. She won places at every track meet including two First Place in 400-meter dash and 4×400 meter relay. Her dedication and athleticism earned her the Student Athlete of the Year Award.

We are so proud of our baby girl. Finishing middle school is quite an emotional one and heading to high school felt surreal. But we are looking forward to a very wonderful high school life for my darling daughter. Wishing her all the best, too.

Congratulations, palangga!
