Have you tried some fig fruit? How did you like it?
When it comes to healthy drinks, we want only the best for our children. Of course, every one of us have our own preferences. Sometimes we just don’t stick to one healthy drink only because our kids’ taste buds change, too. But the most important thing is we want them to stay healthy and strong.
Who remembers Milo chocolate drink? When siblings and I were growing up, Milo has been a part of our daily meal. It was our breakfast or mid-afternoon drink back then. A product from #Nestle with vitamins and minerals that every child need. We never liked drinking milk so Milo chocolate nutritional energy drink was great for us. Sometimes we’re mixing the drink with rice to make it look like we’re making a porridge.
I bought a few of this drink and let my darling daughter try some to see if she’ll like Milo. Well, she loved it! I would like for you to try Milo chocolate nutritional energy drink. One can cost $1.88 in most grocery stores.
Another favorite is the Goodness To-Go Breakfast/Anytime Shake from Post. I learned about this when I was grocery shopping at Walmart one weekend few months ago. There was a free sample kiosk for this breakfast drink and there were coupons, too. It tasted good and hence it’s Vanilla flavor, which my daughter also likes, I took two coupons and grabbed two packs. Each pack has four and costs about $4.98. The coupon was $1.50. I think the price is just right for this one. Sometimes you’ll find coupons for this at Coupons.com.
One Goodness To-Go breakfast drink a day is good. Try it. Your child might like it.
There are many paths you can take when you are sick; what you should do will usually differ depending on the specific circumstances you are facing. If your condition is life threatening, you need to call an ambulance. Otherwise, it can be tough to know whether the GP (General Practitioner) or the hospital is most appropriate. If you don’t know who to call in any particular situation, here are some things you should consider – stick this on your fridge or in your diary for fast access; you never know when you might need it.
The severity of your condition will be a significant indicator as to who you should call when you are sick. If you have the flu or any kind of viral or bacterial infection, you are probably better off talking to your GP, as these are relatively minor conditions. If you are suffering from more serious symptoms, such as fainting or trouble breathing, then you should definitely consider calling your local hospital.
The duration of your illness, as well as its severity, can determine who you should call or where you should go. If you are displaying symptoms that have lasted more than a week, the hospital should be your first contact. Anything before this should warrant a call to your local GP, who may be able to help you by prescribing appropriate medication.
Younger children are at greater risk of having a more severe reaction to conditions that may barely trouble teenagers or adults. If a child is sick, take into account the symptoms they are showing as well as their age. Any child that is younger than six months and seems to be displaying symptoms such as fever or vomiting should be taken to the hospital straight away.
If you require immediate attention, definitely call the hospital or try to get yourself to the emergency room as fast as possible. If you are calling on behalf of another person and you can’t move them or get them to the services they need, you can always call an ambulance to come and take care of them. Home doctor services such as Doctor To You are another option if you think your issues are not severe enough for emergency services to be called.
There are many different things you should consider before calling or visiting your GP or your local hospital, and the factors listed above are some of the more important. It can sometimes be difficult to make such a decision, especially if you are sick yourself and not functioning properly. If you are in a position where you don’t think you can make an informed decision, do not be afraid to ask a friend or family member to help you out.
Are you a GP? Alternatively, do you work at a hospital? What are the most common mistakes your patients make when deciding where to go for their particular ailments? What do you do when you have to make such a decision? Why? Leave your tips, advice and experiences in the comments section down below – your comment might just help someone else out of a pinch!
The most important thing we can give to ourselves is a proper care. This means we should take care of ourselves no matter what. Health is wealth, they say. And I believe it. In this busy life nowadays, some of us forget to relax and have a complete rest. Some of us didn’t even care to look after our fitness and wellness. Even the very simple things like dental care is sometimes neglected. I noticed it in some. I know there are reasons but of course, if we are given the privilege, why not?
I am super excited about receiving these Xlear Care Kit including sinus care and dental care. For only $25 with the SAVE50 Coupon Code, you will get this care kit for you and your family.
I was very delighted how these products worked great during the trial process.
Xlear Nasal Spray
My daughter and I were under the weather the past few days. Common colds got us. With the Xlear nasal spray in handy, nasal congestion went away easily. I always carry nasal spray wherever I go because I never know when I might need it. And I am really satisfied how Xlear nasal spray works on me.
• Xlear is a soothing nasal spray that helps to alleviate congestion due to allergies, cold, flu, and sinusitis. It does this by being much more hyperosmotic than a traditional saline nasal spray and also by incorporating xylitol, a natural product that has been shown to decrease bacterial adherence in the nose.
• When used twice a day, Xlear nasal spray not only hydrates the sinuses and nasal passages but it also helps to wash away airborne contaminants and pollutants that lead to many common upper respiratory problems.
• Unlike many prescription or medicated sprays with unwanted side effects, daily usage of Xlear Nasal Spray is non-addictive and will not damage tissues.
• One 1.5 oz. container of Xlear Nasal Spray retails for $14.99 and will last 2-3 months with daily use.
• The Xlear Nasal Spray Economy Pack contains three .75 oz. squeeze bottles and retails for $18.99.
Spry Toothpaste Non-Fluoride
After brushing my teeth using the Spry toothpaste, my teeth felt fresh and smooth. Although the paste took a little time to come out when I was squeezing the tube, I think this toothpaste is a must-have in your dental care essentials.
• The use of Spry Toothpaste can significantly improve oral health, when combined with proper oral hygiene and regular dental care.
• Spry Toothpaste consists of 1/3 xylitol, which provides 20-25% of the recommended dosage per day.
• Xylitol also increases mineral absorption into the enamel of the teeth, resulting in greater protection with a clean, fresh feeling that really lasts.
• Spry Toothpaste retails for $5.99 each.
Spry Oral Rinse
We have our own preference and this oral care is quite strong for me. But it does work cleaning my mouth everyday. I like the spearmint flavor in it.
• Spry Oral Rinse takes a more natural approach to oral health by using a xylitol-rich, low-alcohol, and pH-neutral formula.
• It also uses a mix of natural flavorings and herbal extracts such as aloe vera, chamomile, and echinacea to help soothe irritated mouth tissues.
• Spry Oral Rinse is available in Cool Mint, Spearmint, Wintergreen, and Cinnamon flavors.
• Spry Oral Rinse retails for $6.99 each.
The chewing gum tastes good. The flavor stays for a while in my mouth. Makes my mouth feel fresh for hours.
• Xlear Spry Gum has a flavor profile that exceeds regular chewing gum with the added benefit of xylitol.
• Spry Gum is available in four natural flavors: Spearmint, Wintergreen, Cinnamon, and Peppermint.
• 12 pieces of Spry Gum retails for $2.29.
I like these little mint candies so far. They are a bit bigger pieces than others but they melt smooth in the mouth. The Lemon Cream variety tastes good, too.
• Xlear Spry Gems are naturally sweetened with 100% xylitol.
• Spry Gems combine the benefits of xylitol with natural flavorings and calcium to create a pHbalanced formula for advanced oral health.
• Spry Gems are available in Berry, Cinnamon, Peppermint, Spearmint, and Lemon Cream varieties.
• 40 count Spry Gems retail for $2.19.
The benefits of xylitol
The addition of xylitol to saline nasal sprays, neti pots, and positive pressure bottles has been shown to make them more effective at helping to prevent ear infections in children, sinus infections in adults, and asthma and allergies in people of all ages. Xylitol helps the body’s natural cleansing process to clear away allergens, asthmatic triggers and other harmful bacteria. Xylitol is also one of the newest, easiest and tastiest ways that people can improve oral health. Research done in widely different conditions confirms that xylitol use may reduce tooth decay.

Hair Care For A Good Cause #SoapBox Argan Oil Shampoo And Conditioner #SudsySelfie Review ( Momimhar posted on April 29th, 2015 )
One of the most important responsibilities we should take is being responsible for our own wellness. That includes taking care of our health and body including our hair. As you know, dull unmanageable hair can be very depressing. Before pregnancy, my jet black hair was smooth and shiny. I guess most of the nutrients I got from food went to my hair that time. But when I was pregnant and after delivery, my hair suddenly lost its ‘life’.
I try hair care periodically to see which ones will create a better result. I am open to suggestions, though. Anyway, this is very exciting that Influenster gave me this opportunity to try Soapbox hair care. After using these for days, I can say that I feel something good in my hair. Softness and volume is now in the works.
The Soapbox Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner look creamy and lather pretty good on my hair. They have a mild scent, too, which I really like because strong fragrance in shampoos and conditioners sometimes are harsh on the hair.
What makes Soapbox hair care ahead from the other products is that, they are sold not only for personal necessities but also for a good cause. Soapbox Soaps teamed with Splash has a mission to empower customers to give back to the community with everyday purchases. For every purchase of the Soapbox Soaps products, a portion of the sale will be donated for a month of free clean water to the community in need.
