itty bittys® SPIDER-MAN Stuffed Toy

I was a surprised to receive this cute little thing on Christmas Eve.  It’s an itty bittys® SPIDER-MAN Stuffed Toy from Hallmark which is included in the #JingleVoxBox sent to me by #Influenster.  I showed it to my darling daughter and she loved it.  She actually wanted it to become one of her snuggle buddies but she decided to give it back to me because, she said, I don’t have a snuggle toy and it was given to me for Christmas.  Aww…I have the sweetest daughter in the world.

Hallmark has a collection called itty bittys® stuffed toys and stuffed animals characters from popular kids’ movies, television series, and kids’ shows such as Spider-man, Rainbow Brite, Scooby-doo, Star Wars, Frozen, and the likes.  You will really enjoy collecting these cute little things not only for your little ones but also for yourselves.  They measure not more than 4 inches long so they can be carried and stored easily.  Visit the nearest Hallmark stores near you for more #ittybittys collection.

I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing and review purposes.

AC’s 5th Birthday Celebration ( Momimhar posted on November 6th, 2015 )

Oh it was a happy day for AC, K, and Lexi.  Because it’s AC’s 5th birthday!  My cousin Em wasn’t planning to hold the birthday party at her home.  But with the help of our dear friends, AC’s birthday party was a successful.  The little girls had a fun.

K was very excited to help AC open her birthday presents.  🙂 A few of her gifts are:

American Girl Doll – Rebecca

Toddler Girl Clothes

Lava Lamp

Sofia The First Kitchen

Large Giraffe Stuffed Toy

Kids’ birthday parties doesn’t have to be extravagant to make them happy on their special day.  A small simple celebration at home can be satisfying and enjoyable even if it’s the last minute planning.  Thanks to our dear close friends who came and helped Emz.  Here are few tips how to make the small birthday celebration at home memorable and fun.

  • Order the cake and cupcakes from your favorite grocery store like Tom Thumb, Kroger, or Walmart.  They can make the cake available the next day.
  • If the schedule is hectic, invite close friends three days in advance for a potluck birthday party and ask their help if they can bring food.  It’s proven on our end.
  • A small crowd of guests also makes a difference.  Too much crowd can bring stress to the little ones.
  • Birthday party games are optional.  At AC’s party, we didn’t have any party games.  We just let our kids play in the living room while the grown ups were busy chatting and stuff.  🙂

As with the food and drinks, below are a few suggestions what to bring to the potluck party.

  • Spaghetti
  • Mixed vegetables stew
  • Pork or beef stew
  • Cooked rice
  • Green salad
  • Pansit (rice sticks noodles)
  • Assorted fruits
  • Roasted chicken
  • Soda, juice, and water

Boo On Ballard 2015, Foam Party Pit, And Photo With Miss Texas 2015 ( Momimhar posted on October 31st, 2015 )

Alright, so my darling daughter had firmly decided that she wanted to be Ginormica or Suzan from Monsters vs. Aliens this Halloween.  I thought she would insist to be Raven from Teen Titans Go since she really liked that character in the show.  So three weeks before today, I looked for Ginormica costume online.  I knew it would be difficult to find one in the stores.  As usual, I found one on Amazon.  For the price of $9.99 with free shipping (as a Prime member), I admit that the costume was a great deal.  Even though the material of the costume is 100% polyester and seems like the quality is for a one-time wear, I still bought the costume for my daughter.  She really liked it.  She even told me that she’s gonna wear it forever.  Oh the happiness of a child is priceless.

So we went to the Boo on Ballard Street in Downtown Wylie on Thursday, October 29th, with my cousin Em and her two toddler girls, AC and Lexi.  It was a huge success and it was so much fun as usual.  Like other annual events in town, it’s always a well-attended event.  Wylie Chamber of Commerce in cooperation of the local businesses, institutions, and the general public made this a successful event for children, youth, and the grown ups.  There were lots of treats, giveaways, activities, and attractions for everyone.

Because of the very long long line of trick or treaters going counter clockwise, we didn’t finish the Trick or Treat on Ballard.  We took the girls to the Glow in The Dark at the playground.  We didn’t even see what other activities were in there because K and AC wanted to go to the Foam Party Pit.  It was 10 minutes until the event was over so we just let the two girls go.  The inflatable has a machine blowing non-toxic foam bubbles as it makes waves.  The kids were having fun diving into the bubbly foam.  Of course, they’re all wet and cold.  When the two came out of the foam pit, Lexi wanted to go but it was 8:00 P.M. and the in-charge stopped letting kids in.  K and AC had lots of fun but they got really cold.  🙂  Good thing I had a towel and a t-shirt in the trunk of my car so I lend Em the towel so she can wipe AC dry.  I let K wear the big t-shirt.

Summer Is Not Over Yet ( Momimhar posted on October 11th, 2015 )

Beautiful day to be out in the backyard playing in the pool.

Beautiful day to be out in the backyard playing in the pool.

Although October is here but it’s a hot weekend here in Texas.  Summer is not over yet for us here.  That’s good I guess because my darling daughter enjoys the outdoors so much.  One weekend she asked me if she can play in her pool in the backyard.  Of course, she had to bring all her bath toys out with her.  🙂 After I filled up the pink pool I bought from Walmart for $8.00 last year, I sprayed some sunscreen all over DD.  I used Banana Boat Baby Sunscreen Spray on her because it’s non-sticky and non-greasy.

And just look at that little girl.  She asked for her Scoobydoo umbrella after a while. Ah, toddlers.  😀

The New Monster High Doll ( Momimhar posted on October 9th, 2015 )

A week ago, K and I went to Walmart to buy a few groceries.  She asked if she can go look at toys for a few minutes. So we went ahead to the kids’ toys department.  Like we usually do, we pretty much toured every aisle in the toys’ department then she saw these huge Monster High Dolls piled in the middle aisle.  I am guessing the doll is about 3 feet tall.  Oh my goodness she wanted one right away.  I looked at the price and I was speechless.  I told K that if she want this Monster High Doll, we have to sell her old toys in a garage sale. And so, this doll is in her birthday wishlist.  Oh dear!  Walmart’s Lay-away is starting now but we’ll see.

Calling all Godmothers!  🙂
