This year’s Spring Break was awesome for these sweet bunches. Though we did not get to go to a few interesting places most of the time, we were able to travel and visit Downtown Dallas this time. As you can see in the photos, we really had a great time. 🙂

Below are the attractions we explored that day.

Spring Break Is Near ( Momimhar posted on March 3rd, 2019 )

Happy Sunday!

I know you are one of the parents who are excited and couldn’t wait for the Spring Break to come. Yes it is getting hear. Actually, in our district, Spring Break is next week starts on March 11th. Hopefully the weather next week is ideal for outdoor activities so we can enjoy going to the parks or any attractions in and around Dallas-Fort Worth.

My darling daughter wants to go to the zoo and the botanical gardens next week. Like I said, I hope the weather would be fine next week because I am pretty sure the zoo will be crowded as usual. Like last year’s Spring Break, we are just going to do stay-cation this year. We went to the zoo and botanical gardens and looks like we are going do that again.

Do you have any travel plans on Spring Break this year? Where are you going? Thanks for sharing.

Spring Break 2018 Plans ( Momimhar posted on March 12th, 2018 )

It’s Spring Break 2018.  What’s your plans? Do you have some activities in mind for your children to keep them occupied this week?  There are Spring Break Camps or programs offered by recreation centers and sport centers but I decided to just keep my child’s schedule open for local travels.  In fact, my darling daughter already planned how to spend  her Spring Break. Haha!

She has two fun places in mind that she wants to visit this week.

  • Sea Life Aquarium (Grapevine, TX)
  • Fort Worth Zoo (Fort Worth, TX)

Although she has been to SeaLife Aquarium before, DD enjoyed the sea creatures.  She likes watching them and she is interested in learning more about each one of them-especially the sharks. 😀

This will be DD’s second trip to Fort Worth Zoo, too.  She was two years old when we first went.  Two-year-olds don’t remember a thing.  DD went to the zoo in Dallas with Uncle J and Aunt D but she did not want to go back there.  So we figured she wanted to visit Fort Worth Zoo.

As I was finalizing our Spring Break 2018 schedule I thought, it’s all good.  These places are educational as well as fun. And they are not very far.  Yes we are having a staycation this week.  Our goal is to not spend too much in our travels because we are looking forward to a big vacation early next year.
