Valentine’s Day gifts from daddy.
How’s everyone? Did y’all had a nice Valentine’s Day? My family and I decided not to dine out for supper on Valentine’s Day, because who knows how long is the waiting time since we didn’t get any reservations. So we went to lunch at Chili’s Grill & Bar. We haven’t been there in very long while.
We were so full and sleepy that we spent the rest of the day relaxing, napping, and hanging out at home. By the way, the big pink plush unicorn, the greeting cards, the red roses, and the box of chocolate were waiting for DD and me that morning. DD said, “daddy is the sweetest.” 🙂
Oh dear my birthday is just a few days a way. What am I gonna do for my birthday? I will just have dinner in a very nice restaurant with family and friends. To be honesty, I thinking of a get-together here at my house but the house is not ready for that. The last time we had a big crowd here at home was on my darling daughter’s 1st birthday. It was a big celebration. My husband’s family and my friends, together with their children came to celebrate DD’s birthday. It was a blast. Thanks to my cousin Emz for helping me with the birthday decorations.
Speaking of birthdays, have you received free stuff on your birthday such as free treats or free meals at restaurants? Well, I think you might like to know how to get them for free. I mean free meal on your birthday or anniversary, who wouldn’t like that kind of free birthday stuff? I already received mine – a free appetizer at Carrabbas on my birthday. I am waiting for IHOP’s next. This is the first time I am trying these offers, so I am excited.
See this full list of over 100 places to get free birthday stuff on your special day. And don’t forget to sign up. It’s free. Kind of exciting, isn’t it? Let me know which ones you picked.
We did so much fun stuff last year. We went on a vacation in the summer and attended kids’ activity parties during the Holidays. It was indeed another wonderful year and my family and I were very grateful for everything.
We went back to San Antonio last summer with our darling daughter. It was 6 years since we were there. We stayed in La Quinta Inns & Suites-Riverwalk. I don’t know but my daughter likes La Quinta. Though it was a very busy vacation, we had so much fun because we went to Sea World San Antonio. It was my darling daughter’s first experience at Sea World. She got to see the Shamu Show, Clyde and Seymour High Show, and got on some rides including the thrilling Journey to Atlantis. That was her favorite ride she said. Gladly it was mostly cloudy the day we went to Sea World. The weather was just perfect for lots of walking in the park. Still, we brought our sunscreen, towels, and three bottled water for us to drink.
The day before Sea World fun, we strolled by the Riverwalk and had dinner at Guadalajara Grill. My favorite meal there was the Molcajete. Then after a fun day at Sea World, we just enjoyed sightseeing by the Riverwalk around lunch time. We got on a boat that tours around. Interesting history and facts while boating. Then we explored the Market Square in the afternoon. My darling daughter got the chance to ride the mechanical bull. She had so much fun. We saw a lot of colorful clothing, souvenir items, home decor, and entertainment (singing) in the square. At check out day, we went up to the Tower of the Americas located at the HemisFair Park. It was very interesting and amazing experience to go up to the tower and read some stuff about Texas history. DD and dear husband looked through telescope a few times and walked around while I was reading stuff.
Three days and two nights in San Antonio, Texas were worth it. Leaving San Antonio, we were headed to New Braunfels for some swim and splash at #Schlitterbahn. It’ll be in my next post. 🙂

My younger sister and her kids are probably in the big city right now to see what is happening for it is the Fiesta Day. Every 28th and 29th of June, Ormoc City celebrates fiesta honoring the Sts. Peter and Paul.
When we talked via Facebook the other night, my sister said she would like to go to the city for the fiesta today. She will be bringing her kids too. I thought it would be good time to, at least, get out of the house for a bit. She had been busy since the first day of school. I would like my sister to have fun once in a while so she won’t get bored. This is also a good chance that they can check and dine in our favorite restaurant in the city. The restaurant serves grilled chicken with special fried rice. Dessert is yummy too. Halo-halo served in a freshly opened young coconut. Aside from good food, I admire the restaurant’s cleanliness and rustic look. From the front patio to the bathroom, the materials look good. It’s unique sinks are eye-catching. They look like the photo below.
This is called a bronze vessel sink. If you like rustic look to your home or if you are planning to put up a restaurant and is thinking of a style that is unique and different for the bathrooms, consider this type of sink. The 955 vessel sink is made from pure bronze with one piece construction. The one piece construction ensures a strong, durable sink that will last a long time and the ancient vessel style is sure to add charm to any bathroom. This bronze sink is finished with a beautiful antique patina that will help to disguise minor scratches or blemishes that occur over time. The overall dimensions for the 955 are 16” x 6 ½” with a centered drain and an 18” minimum cabinet size. Covered under a limited lifetime warranty for as long as you own the sink. Cool huh? This is an idea to brainstorm.
My thoughts are with my sister and her kids right now. How I wish I am with them enjoying the view by the seawall while walking at the city park. The excitement in the crowd is inviting. Well, they have nothing to worry too because I sent them money for their bonding time today.
