Use Your Credit Card Wisely ( Momimhar posted on December 2nd, 2011 )

While shopping for baby clothes today, I saw a beautiful set of cookware.  I really do not know how to cook.  Well, I know how to make a meal but I do not have the cooking skills like my mother and sister have.  There is always a fascination in me towards the kitchen stuff.  My family never had a good looking set of cookware, dinner and tableware.  But when I saw the price of the cookware, I stepped away from it.  Because my budget is not even at the half of it’s amount (chuckles).  So I headed towards the silverware section.  I saw this pretty set of spoon and fork.  The set looked really nice and made with good quality material.  I grabbed it…went to check out counter.  Credit card swiped…again.

There, I used my credit card again for the purchases today.  But that’s okay.  I am a good payer.  My bills are payed on time.  I do not like to leave a big balance in my card.  A friend of mine told me that she had a huge debt.  I hate the thought that someone kept bugging her because she has a big obligation.  She tried to negotiate.  It was like a collection harassment happened.  It says in the fair debt collection law, a debt collector cannot call repeatedly for collection.  Proper action was taken and my friend already settled that out.  Everything’s okay now.  Her advice to me is to use the credit card wisely.

Like A Hero ( Momimhar posted on July 19th, 2011 )

My younger sister sent me a private message on Facebook asking if I can help her on something.  I asked what’s the problem.  My nephew and four of his boy classmates broke a sink.  It is the sink in their school’s bathroom. Uh oh.  He is in trouble.

When I called my mother last night, I asked her how did that happened?  She said that my nephew and his classmates pushed the bathroom door so hard so their girl classmate can get out because she was locked in.  They were like a hero for saving this young girl from being locked in the bathroom.  I asked why the boys did not call a teacher or somebody to help them.  Well, there’s no teacher around because it was lunch time when it happened.

My sister doesn’t have any money to contribute to buy a replacement sink.  So I sent her some together with my youngest sister’s allowance for the month.

Well, I guess it’s part of growing up.

Immediate Help In Medical Needs ( Momimhar posted on July 8th, 2009 )

In times of tight budget, and a member of the family gets sick, it is very difficult to find someone to turn to if you need a helping hand. You cannot ask for an immediate help from a person. So what happens is that, you will just wait until you find a way to get help…financial help. It is because there is nothing in your financial capability to take a sick member of the family to a doctor immediately. No health insurance. It makes me feel bad because we had two terrible medical situation this month. My niece had UTI (Urinary Tract Infection), and her mother (my sister) is recovering from an artery disorder. This is the bothersome moment of our lives. In addition to the situation, we do not have enough funds at this time. So visiting a private doctor surely costs us a big amount of money because of the consultation fees. It is really tough.Having a health insurance plan is very beneficial to everyone. If you choose a plan that includes doctor visits and wellness check ups coverage, I tell you, that is the best. But, “plans may pay differently”, says Schebler Staner in her article titled Health Insurance Plan Covers Doctor Office Visits. Staner also clarified that, “Plans may require co-payments, set annual limits for wellness services, or require that you meet a deductible before they pay anything.” Which is true.

I should have done this a long time ago. Do you think it is too late now to get a health insurance for my family?
