Spring Time Is Great Time To Go To The Zoo ( Momimhar posted on April 12th, 2014 )

Greeting cards, tulips, and an orchid for our 6th wedding anniversary.

Greeting cards, tulips, and an orchid for our 6th wedding anniversary.

It’s my 6th wedding anniversary to my beloved dear husband.  We are going on a trip taking our little one to the zoo tomorrow.  I hope the weather would be very nice and sunny.  Spring time is the great time to go to the zoo.  Our darling daughter is already excited.  The last time we were there wasn’t enjoyable because she was constipated.  We felt bad about that.  Anyway, hopefully this would be a great time for her.  She loves seeing the animals at the zoo.

Kids really enjoy seeing the animals at the zoo.  It is the best place to see the animals in person and the kids can experience how they look like, the sound they make, and their sizes.  The zoo is also an educational attraction for kids and for the whole family.

As for me and my dear husband, he took me and DD to a nice dinner at a Mexican restaurant.

The Grandparents Came Over To Babysit ( Momimhar posted on April 23rd, 2013 )

The grandparents came over Friday night to babysit the little one on Saturday.  My husband and I went to Oklahoma for a weekend getaway as a post celebration for our 5th Wedding Anniversary.  Darling daughter was very happy to see her Na-na and Paw-paw.  The night the folks arrived, she did not want them to go to bed.  🙂

I was feeling a bit hesitant to go to Oklahoma without our little girl with us.  That was the very first time my husband and I went on a trip without our little princess.  But I guess it is also a preparation for me being away from my child for a short period of time because, before we know it, she will be in school in a year or two.  Surely I am not ready of it.  She’s in a preschool age where she needs to learn being independent sometimes.  I am very thankful and lucky to have such a loving and caring in-laws.  They love the little one so much.  Even though she makes them exhausted from playing and activities, they adore her very much.

And that weekend was also the very first time I prepared things for the grandparents’ babysitting.  I was confused where to start.  My husband helped me with buying snacks and dinner for the folks.  There’s food for the little one ready in the fridge so I just had to put them in food containers and told my mother-in-law what’s for lunch.  Then I made the drinks ready for Saturday.

The only concern why they called Saturday afternoon was that, my darling daughter was coughing and there’s no cough medicine.  I told my mother-in-law that I give the little one honey.  Sure that helped.

I was missing my daughter so much.  I couldn’t wait to go home.  We got home before her bedtime and we gave her big hugs and kisses…she’s so happy to see us.  The grandparents had a great time babysitting, too.

Bridal Shower, Gas Price, Trip To Oklahoma ( Momimhar posted on April 23rd, 2012 )

Baby’s grandma came over for the weekend to:  attend a bridal shower of her other granddaughter and go with us on a trip to Oklahoma.  The bridal shower was held in Allen.  It was a small, simple party attended by close friends and family.  The bride-to-be looked really pretty and happy.  The food was good and we met her stepmother and half-sister too.

The bridal shower cake

The cake was so delicious.  It’s vanilla flavored and had strawberry filling in it.

On our way home we had to stop at a gas station in McKinney.  The weather was very nice that Saturday-good day for driving around town but we had to go home immediately so we can prepare for the Sunday trip to Oklahoma to celebrate for our (my husband and I) 4th Wedding Anniversary.

Anyway as we were looking for a gas station, we found this:

Shell or Exxon?

Not a good price but MIL had to gas up her car for the trip.  As far as I can remember, this is an Exxon gas station in the corner of McDonald and Hwy 380 in McKinney.  Oh well, maybe they are changing it.

When we got home, my baby was very happy to see her Nah-nah.  She missed her so much, and baby loves being with grandma.
