Air Force JROTC Program And Meet the Braves 2026 ( Momimhar posted on August 13th, 2026 )

Last week, the high school conducted the yearly Meet the Braves event. This event is the unofficial kickoff of the Fall season sports. We have three football and volleyball teams this school year: Freshmen, JV, and Varsity. Our cheer teams have two this year: JV and Varsity. The Cross Country team is ready; the first meet is in a few days.

And guess what’s new? Our school was approved for Air Force JROTC. The district applied for this program two years and we’re so excited that we already have this in our school.

Darling daughter was looking forward to this and she’s so excited to be in the program. At Meet the Braves, she was one of the Color Guards.

2026 It’s Back To School Y’all ( Momimhar posted on August 5th, 2026 )

Summer Break went by just like that and it’s back to school again. Are we ready?

My daughter K is now in her sophomore year in high school. Wow! That’s so fast. I can’t believe it!

My inbox was bombarded with emails from the school and announcements from SportsYou (from the coaches); reminders, new classroom policies, transportation updates, and welcome letter from the new high principal. Lots of new things are happening in our district this year including the construction of the new classrooms and parking lot for new drivers. Our school district is growing. I heard that we are gonna be a 5A this year.

Anyway, I am looking forward to another fantastic school year. So excited about the new things my daughter is trying this year. Oh, yea. Our district was approved to have an Air Force JROTC this year. K is joining. Besides cheer, she’s going to be in AFJROTC and Track & Field again.
