Diligence And Patience Will Earn Great Rewards ( Momimhar posted on January 18th, 2014 )

My little sister is now renting a boarding house together with her four classmates.  The reason for renting a boarding house is that, the hospital duty is by shift and my little sister is having a difficulty going home especially if she’s off at midnight.  There is no transportation available.  And with the power still out, it’s not safe.  So we talked about the boarding house rental and she also let our parents know about the plan.  My parents agreed and now she’s in convenience.

As you know, my little sister is in her senior year in college taking up nursing course.  It is very tedious but she does good in examinations and trainings.  After the typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda), they have been doing make up classes and they even go to school on Sundays.  My dear husband said they will get burned out!  I hope not.  I understand how the school has to catch up with classes and stuff.  And they will be graduating, she said, in April this year.

I am praying that all will go well as far as her studies are concerned.  My sister is very determined and focused.  We talked about the future plans after graduation and hopefully the good grades will be maintained.  We are so proud of her.  Diligence and patience will earn great rewards.

  3. That would be a lot safer for her as well as she doesn’t have to go home late at night.

  4. I too pray that all is well with her and the rest of her class. I am sure they can do it. I can only imagine how tough it is and how demanding it is. Where are you from in Pinas, by the way mommy?

  6. it’s a good thing your parents agreed! Nurses tend to go on graveyard shifts and it is indeed dangerous at those times :-S
