Summer vacation starts tomorrow. And the kids back home cannot wait for the vacation. Closing of classes in most schools in the Philippines begins tomorrow. We are very glad that my niece and nephews don’t have any failed grades. They will be moving up to the next grade levels in the next school year.
Though my niece did not make it to the Achiever’s List this year, she’s happy that she got good grades. I know that high school has a broad coverage of general education, and there are lots of requirements that should be met by the students. I experienced those things when I was in high school, too.
My nephew, on the other hand, has two awards in his class. Best Achiever and Most Neat and Clean. He’s in the Fourth Grade. Well, that’s surprising. He is very happy…everyone is happy. Pre-school and Kindergarten just had their closing ceremony a couple of weeks ago. My other nephew who’s in Pre-school classes is excited that he will be in Kindergarten next school year. How nice to know that the kids have the interest and enthusiasm when it comes to schooling. Specially when they receive honors and awards in addition to the full support of parents and family. I am certain that my little one will be very smart and active in school, too. I love them so much! They are my bright bundles.
And so, as a treat, I will pay the entrance fee to our favorite resort. My niece and nephews and the rest of the family wants to go swimming after the Holy Week.
I agree, I taught my kids at home for their pre-school years and they both love it. They’d learn more and they would remember that their first teacher is their Mom!
Ih-that is so nice of you–I am sure they will all enjoy the day!
Oh, you’re such a sweet aunt! They deserve to have some rewards for being such a good students!
Wow, here in Sc, USA, spring break just started
we should encourage our kids to do some activities at home that involves writing, reading and learning…but not forcing them as well
Yes Nova. I am also not into forced learning.
I love when kids really enjoy school. My oldest son loves it, not sure my youngest will as he is so painfully shy, we might homeschool him. Glad your niece and nephews did so well.
