Halloween Costume For Toddlers ( Momimhar posted on October 15th, 2012 )

Last year, I have been eying for this Halloween costume for my darling daughter that is really cute.  I looked online for a bargain price but I had no luck.  I tried shopping at but still the price for the item is not reasonable for me to grab.  So I decided to buy her a Halloween outfit instead.

I finally found the costume that I really wanted for my toddler to wear this year’s Halloween Trick or Treat.  When we were strolling in Walmart, we did a quick trip to the seasonal section and there I saw this cute toddler costume.  The Pink Pansy.  Yes, my darling daughter will be a flower on Halloween.

Man, I’ve been searching for a deal on this costume online but I didn’t find the price that convinces me.  And all of a sudden, Walmart has it.  I was a very happy customer.

My daughter liked the costume.  When I tried it on her to see if there would be no problem on the fitting, she won’t take it off.  So I took the opportunity taking her pictures while she is wearing the costume.  And seemed like my toddler was enjoying the pictorial. 🙂

She said she’s a flower in the garden. 🙂

Book Rack For Her Books ( Momimhar posted on October 13th, 2012 )

To help in tidying up my toddler’s bedroom, I bought a book rack for her books.  She already have a collection of story books, activity, and educational books.  My daughter likes the book rack because she can access her books easily.  And when her cousin A comes over for a visit, they sit down by the rack playing and reading books together.

Size wise, this book rack is build for kids room.  It is made with durable nylon and wood.  And it is lightweight so there is no difficulty moving it to another place in the room.  For the price of $34, I think it’s worth the money.

Parental Control On Kids Playing Computer Games ( Momimhar posted on October 11th, 2012 )

If your kids like playing games online, we parents have to make sure that the games they are playing have to be challenging to their learning skills.  We should always practice the parental control on kids’ Internet usage at home.

When I was child, my parents won’t allow me and my siblings to watch television or use the computer until all our assignments are done.  We have to be in bed at 9:30 P.M.  because the classes start at 6:00 A.M.  We get to stay up a little late on Friday nights.  On Saturdays, our parents allow us to play outside when the chores are done.  My siblings and I take turns using the computer.  Though the Internet connection at home was slow (because of we had a dial-up service), it did not matter.  I got to play our favorite computer games.  One of my favorite is Word Game.  It helped enhance my spelling skills.  My brother, who was in college, liked playing sudoku daily at spare time.

Today, kids are hooked on online games.  It is very obvious because of the continuous development of technology and Internet.  Nowadays, children at a very early age know how to use a computer already.  Parents just have to be very responsible and firm when it comes to limiting the kids’ Internet usage.

It also an advantage to have a computer and Internet connection at home.  Topic research for reference to help accomplish the assignments and school projects are some of the benefits.  Now that I am a full-time housewife and mother, I sometimes spend time playing in the computer to entertain myself after a busy house work.  I still play my favorite Word Game.  And before I go to sleep, I try to finish a level of solitaire.  It is nice to get free solitaire games on the Internet.
