If your kids like playing games online, we parents have to make sure that the games they are playing have to be challenging to their learning skills. We should always practice the parental control on kids’ Internet usage at home.
When I was child, my parents won’t allow me and my siblings to watch television or use the computer until all our assignments are done. We have to be in bed at 9:30 P.M. because the classes start at 6:00 A.M. We get to stay up a little late on Friday nights. On Saturdays, our parents allow us to play outside when the chores are done. My siblings and I take turns using the computer. Though the Internet connection at home was slow (because of we had a dial-up service), it did not matter. I got to play our favorite computer games. One of my favorite is Word Game. It helped enhance my spelling skills. My brother, who was in college, liked playing sudoku daily at spare time.
Today, kids are hooked on online games. It is very obvious because of the continuous development of technology and Internet. Nowadays, children at a very early age know how to use a computer already. Parents just have to be very responsible and firm when it comes to limiting the kids’ Internet usage.
It also an advantage to have a computer and Internet connection at home. Topic research for reference to help accomplish the assignments and school projects are some of the benefits. Now that I am a full-time housewife and mother, I sometimes spend time playing in the computer to entertain myself after a busy house work. I still play my favorite Word Game. And before I go to sleep, I try to finish a level of solitaire. It is nice to get free solitaire games on the Internet.
My 5-yr old boy uses my iPad and watches videos in YouTube but he only watches the demolition videos and of space and the universe. I always limit his time when he does. I stopped playing online games already but sometimes, when I want to take a break, I play the games in the iPad. 🙂

My daughter loves to play games in disney junior site .. I let her play 1-2 hrs but not daily. Me, i don’t have time na to play online games but sometimes in mobile phone =)
