Sure I am excited whenever the Holidays are approaching. That means decorating the house with Christmas stuff, shopping for gifts, attending Christmas parties and even Birthday parties, and visiting family during the holidays.
Back where I came from, the holiday excitement begins when the -ber months come. As early as September most of the people, including our family, are already decorating our homes for Christmas. And we are making our shopping list too. Christmas carols started playing on the radio – Silver Bells, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, Jingle Bells, Kumukutikutitap…and the likes. The stores begin displaying their best products too. Holiday cheer can be felt in the air as early as September. And you can see that kind of cheer in the children’s eyes.
Although this is the time of the year when everyone is very busy, the joy and excitement the Holidays bring to us are priceless.
