Under The Cabinet Lighting Needed ( Momimhar posted on October 17th, 2011 )

Putting my baby to sleep at night is not difficult but sometimes, when she is teething, she wakes up in the middle of the night.  She gets fussy and cries a lot.  I put oral gel on her gums to help ease the discomfort.  It helps somehow.  I also make her bottle because there are times she gets hungry.  Like I said, this happens only when she is teething.  My daughter sleeps through the night already when she turned two months old.

What I am having difficulty with when making her bottle in times like that is, I cannot see what I am doing.  I had to switch on the kitchen light which is too bright.  What I want is an under cabinet light at the bottom of the upper kitchen cabinet to simply light the are on the counter  where the formula and water are.  So that it will be easy for me to fix my baby’s formula without getting the whole kitchen lighted up.

I asked my husband if it is possible.  He said he will search for under cabinet lighting bulbs online so we can get it cheaper.  That would be nice.

Party In Richardson ( Momimhar posted on October 17th, 2011 )

My daughter and I were invited to a kid’s birthday party Saturday afternoon.  The party was held at Heights Park in Richardson.  The park is about 30 to 40 minutes away from our house.  It was a sunny afternoon.  Two kids are celebrating their birthdays.  Their parents are friends so they decided to have a party for two.  My little girl enjoyed mingling with other kids.  I had to hold her, and sometimes put her in the stroller, when we watch the children playing the games prepared by the celebrants’ parents.  My little girl had a wonderful time.  She even had a goody bag from the party filled with party favors.

Party Favors

Butterfly Themed Cake

Angry Bird Themed Cake

It is best to take the little ones to parties or gatherings so they can start learning socialization.  It is part of a baby’s development that she or he can mingle and interact with people and other kids as well.

Misleading Room Rates ( Momimhar posted on October 17th, 2011 )

It is my baby sisters 18th birthday celebration on Saturday.  It will be held in a resort hotel.  I rented a function room for the dinner party.  I was a little hesitant in choosing that resort hotel because of their accommodation rates.  Gladly they offered promotional coupons on their souvenir items so I was okay with that.  The party has a total of more than fifty guests invited, including the family and friends.

I had difficulty when I was checking the website for rates and other things because the resort hotel’s website was acting kinda weird.  The pages were too slow to load and sometimes not loading too.  I thought something was wrong with the website.  So I called their office and talked to the girl in-charge on events.  She said the website was created by a travel agency.  The rates are not updated and the web hosting has some problems.  That’s what I thought.  I told the staff to inform whoever set up that website to update everything.  The information like room rates are misleading to clients especially to those who access the website from abroad.

Anyway, we just need to do some rechecking on our preparation checklists and all is done.  I want everything to be ready two days before the party.
